Coventry City are preparing for a pivotal season.
After securing promotion the task for the Sky Blues last term was to avoid relegation, something that they did with relative comfort after finishing the season in 16th position in the Championship.
This term the task will be on consolidating that place and avoiding second season syndrome.
The club are working hard to recruit new players that can help the club and that’s certainly the case with the addition of Martyn Waghorn.
The experienced striker has completed a move to the Ricoh Arena on a two-year contract after coming to the end of his contract with Derby County where he helped them to secure survival on the final day of the season.
At 31 years of age Waghorn will bring real experience to the group, but what do supporters think of his arrival? A selection of supporters had their say on social media.
Is it too soon to call Coventry dark horses?
