QPR secured a much-needed win against Burton Albion last time out which has given them a nine-point cushion over the bottom three.

Whilst there’s still a long way to go, defeat at the Pirelli Stadium would’ve left R’s fans nervously looking over the shoulder, however they may be hoping for a better end to the campaign.

Ian Holloway has had to contend with a lot of injuries this season which in turn has seen several youngsters emerge from the youth ranks.

However, the former Blackpool boss will be aware that he needs to manage those players carefully and will be looking to the market to help beef up the squad.

The financial position at the club means Holloway won’t be splashing big cash, and he may want to shift some big earners, but what would be the dream end to the window for QPR?

We take a look…

Sam Preston

Danny Newton comes through the door and more high earners are cut from the wagebill.

Key men like Massimo Luongo and Conor Washington stay put too, which means that Holloway's men do not get dragged into the relegation battle.

Alfie Burns

Adding some real quality at Loftus Road.

Holloway should be looking into League One for some creativity, with the hope he can find a player to ease their way into the second-tier over the next six months, before making a major impact next season.

For me, QPR are heading for mid-table and I wouldn’t think the club will be pursuing too many major deals.

George Dagless

A class striker comes to Loftus Road.

The Rs have had an okay at best season and need a consistent goal-scorer up top.

The problem for them will be having the money to seal such a deal but in a dream scenario a new striker would be perfect.
