Blackburn Rovers striker Danny Graham has admitted that he hopes he can finish his career at Ewood Park.

Doubt has surrounded the future of the striker recently, with his contract expiring at the end of the season.

Yet, there’s hope from the 34-year-old that he can extend his stay at Ewood Park, with an Instagram Q&A with FUGATI seeing Rovers fans flood questions the way of the veteran striker.

One quizzed Graham on whether he’d retire with Rovers, which gained the simple response: “Hope so.”

The 34-year-old has been at Ewood Park since January 2016, having initially joined the club on loan.

In 168 league games for the club, Graham has scored 51 goals, helping the club climb out of League One and back into the Championship.

Last year he struck 15 goals for Tony Mowbray’s side on their Championship return, which helped Blackburn establish themselves back in English football’s second-tier.

He currently has three goals to his name this season.

The Verdict

Graham has been a really good servant to Blackburn over recent seasons and his ability to regularly score goals in the EFL should hopefully secure him new terms.

He clearly wants to commit to the club and that sort of attitude will sit right with a lot of people at board level, as well as boss, Mowbray.

Additionally, Blackburn fans are sure to like to see this desire.
