Blackburn Rovers duo Danny Graham and Bradley Dack have indicated that they see their respective futures at Ewood Park, with the pair exchanging subtle messages on Instagram.

Graham will see his Rovers contract expire at the end of the season, with no extension triggered yet.

Dack’s situation at Ewood is different, though, with the currently injured star a real standout for Tony Mowbray in recent seasons. Last year he struck 15 goals and notched seven assists, whilst the 26-year-old managed 10 goal involvements pre-injury this season.

That’s seen him attract interest from Premier League clubs, with many feeling that the ex-Gillingham man is destined for the top-flight.

Yet, Graham’s recent Q&A on Instagram with FUGATI indicated both might still have a future at Ewood.

A statement was put to Graham, presumably from Dack, saying: “The partnership ain’t finished yet,” with reference to the duo’s on-field antics. And, Graham responded by tagging his teammate.

Like Dack, Graham struck 15 goals this season, whilst he’s added a further three to that tally this term, despite playing without Dack for much of the campaign.

The Verdict

This might be an innocuous update from Graham and Dack, but Blackburn fans will hope that it is a hint to the future.

Between them, the pair helped Blackburn adapt brilliantly to the Championship last season and had they been able to link up again regularly this season, Mowbray’s side might well have been closer to the play-off places than they are.

The hope will be that next season, they are both on the books and rebuilding that partnership.
