Daniel James has delivered a message to Swansea City fans on social media, after the winger completed his move to Manchester Untied.

The 21-year-old has signed a five-year deal at Old Trafford for an undisclosed fee and becomes Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's first signing as Manchester United manager.

James scored five goals and provided ten assists in all competitions for Swansea last season, in his breakthrough season for the first-team and was also able to establish himself on the international stage with Wales.

After the move was confirmed, James posted this photo on his personal

James extended his thanks to everyone associated with the Swans and admitted that he would not be where he is today without the support and guidance of the club.

The Verdict

James is an exciting young player and I'm really pleased to see him get his big move to Old Trafford. He could be a great signing for Manchester United, I just hope he gets a proper chance in the first-team next season.

It is a big blow for Swansea to lose a player with so much potential, but I'm sure fans expected this to happen sooner or later and the reported £15million is great business for the club.

James is right though, he wouldn't be where he is today without Swansea and I'm sure everyone associated with the club will appreciate this message from him and wish him all the best, as he begins an exciting new chapter in his career.
