Norwich City manager Daniel Farke has revealed he's relaxed about the possibility of losing his top stars in the transfer window, as reported by the Eastern Daily Press.

The Canaries have been one of the success stories of the season, soaring to the top of the table prior to the international break. His side are the ones to catch and the form of some of his key players have left other looking on enviously.

Teemu Pukki is perhaps the strongest performer, but Onel Hernandez has also caught the eye, along with a host of their other first team players.

The German boss revealed he's losing little sleep over the situation, showing a confidence that his players will remain with the club.

“When you have a period when you are successful and things are looking good in games, it’s always that players, coaches or staff are in the spotlight and there are rumours or speculation that perhaps some other clubs look and think they are doing a good job," he told the EDP.

“To be honest it’s a situation we wanted, we wanted to be successful, to be there with good performances. So other clubs could look at our players and think they are a good fit for their situation but I’m pretty relaxed, all the contracts are signed on long terms."

Norwich are currently two points clear of Tony Pulis' Boro at the top of the table, with Leeds and Sheffield United three points adrift of the Carrow Road side.

The Verdict

Norwich have surprised everyone, proving that success is as much about getting a settled team on method as it is buying big.

Jordan Rhodes has been a big player for them, showing that one team's trash is another's treasure. There's every chance that they could be in the top six come May, if they hang on to their top performers in the winter window.
