Daniel Farke has confirmed to Norwich City’s official Twitter account that Cameron Jerome and Timm Klose will be available for the Canaries this weekend.

Norwich have had a disastrous start to the Sky Bet Championship season, with Farke’s side managing to pick up just four points from their opening five fixtures, which has left them in the relegation zone heading out of the first international break of the campaign.

The Canaries have back-to-back fixtures at Carrow Road in the coming week, with Birmingham City and Burton Albion visiting on Saturday and Tuesday respectively.

Farke is able to call on Klose for the first time this season against Birmingham, with Norwich welcoming the defender, who featured on 32 occasions in the Championship last season, back into the fold.

Jerome is also available to Farke, having been out of action since August 19th.

The 31-year-old striker has so far made four appearances across all competitions this season, scoring one goal, which came in the Carabao Cup.

Farke also has deadline day arrival, Grant Hanley, available to him for the visit of Birmingham, with the defender linking up with Norwich following international duty with Scotland.

The Norwich boss would not confirm whether Hanley would make his debut for the Canaries on Saturday.

The Verdict

This is a huge positive for Norwich heading into September, which promises to be a crucial month of Championship action.

The Canaries have endured a difficult start to the campaign, and the availability of both Klose and Jerome will hand everybody associated with the club a huge boost.

Farke’s side need to find their best quickly, and the availability of Klose and Jerome should help them do that - along with the addition of players like Hanley.
