Daniel Farke had a satisfactory first season in English football but will be hoping that a productive summer could turn his Norwich City side into promotion contenders in 12 months' time.

A lot has changed at the Norfolk club since the German boss took over with the board looking to cut costs and try a new approach and so far it has brought mixed results.

Yet, the building blocks are clearly there with Farke encouraging the Canaries to play a stylish brand of football but the squad needs strengthening if they are to compete near the top.

With that in mind, new arrivals are to be expected and more high earners could be set to leave in the coming months.

Here we look at two potential arrivals and one departure that would please Norwich fans...

The keeper has just spent the season on loan at Carrow Road from Manchester City and he was a superb signing.

Despite that form, it won't force him into Pep Guardiola's plans so another loan move seems inevitable.

There's bound to be rival interest in the stopper but Farke will hope the players Norwich connections and the fact he enjoyed a successful spell with the club could see him return for another season.

The Yellows are looking to create a more dynamic team and one man who would perfectly reflect that is Shrewsbury's Jon Nolan.

He has been superb in League One this season and even if Paul Hurst's men win promotion they will face a battle to keep hold of the 26-year old.

With energy, quality on the ball and great determination he would seriously enhance the Canaries midfield.

The former Everton man has spent the latter part of the season on loan at Hearts but the SPL side are going to struggle to finance another deal for the forward.

Naismith is a big earner at Carrow Road having joined in the Premier League and still has a year to run on his contract.

It's going to be tough to find a buyer to take him completely off their hands but Norwich will hope they can shift the player which would free up more funds for Farke.
