Curtis Davies has delivered a message to Derby County fans on social media, ahead of the Championship play-off final against Aston Villa.

Derby produced one of the greatest comebacks in play-off history against Leeds United in their semi-final and now face Dean Smith's Aston Villa in the final at Wembley on Monday.

The centre-back has made just five appearances for Derby in the Championship this season and has not featured for the team since November.

The defender was part of the Hull City that won promotion to the Premier League three seasons ago, beating Sheffield Wednesday 1-0 in the final at Wembley and sent a message to Derby fans ahead of this year's final.

Derby secured their place in the top six with a victory over West Brom on the final day of the season and produced an incredible comeback against Leeds at Elland Road in their semi-final.

Villa finished fifth in the Championship table, after a club-record ten-match winning run saw them cement their place in the top six and booked their place in the final with a penalty shoot-out victory over West Brom.
