Crystal Palace sign former Blackpool keeper

Premier League side Crystal Palace have announced the signing of Scotland U21 international goalkeeper Chris Kettings via the club’s website and twitter page.

The 21-year old goalkeeper had been searching for a new club following his release from Championship side Blackpool.

The Scottish goalkeeper joins on a two-year deal and will initially be implemented in the club’s youth development squad.

Kettings has vast experience having had loan spells with an array of clubs including Birmingham City, York City and Hyde. He spent this past season on loan at Hyde during which he made 17 appearances.

In an interview with the club he said, “I’m delighted because this is a massive club. Everyone who I’ve spoken to about Crystal Palace has only had good things to say so I think it’s a massive opportunity for myself and a good club to come to.”
