Crystal Palace set to sign James McArthur in £7m deal

Wigan Athletic midfielder James McArthur is set to sign for Crystal Palace today, according to Goal.

The man who joined Wigan in 2010 has been speaking to Palace over the weekend and the 26-year-old looks to complete a £7 million move today.

Leicester had agreed a £7 million deal with Wigan for the midfielder, but the deal ultimately  collapsed.

Burnley also made a move for the Scot but they were told he’s not for sale.

After Neil Warnock took over the helm at Crystal Palace, they look set for a busy deadline day with McArthur part of the deals.
