Crystal Palace are set to make a move for AFC Bournemouth defender Steve Cook in the summer.

The 22 year-old centre back who can also play as a right-back has been a standout performer for the Cherries this season, and has developed a solid partnership with fellow centre-back Tommy Elphick.

The Eagles are keen to bolster their defensive line and see Cook as a suitable replacement for the long-term at Selhurst Park.

Cook is valued in the region of £3 million and Tony Pulis is set to move for the Bournemouth defender if they get relegated or stay in the top-flight.

Tony Pulis is also rumoured to be targeting Bournemouth winger Matt Ritchie, and could make a move for him in the summer as well.
