Crystal Palace plotting moves for England under-21 stars

Published

Premier League side Crystal Palace are reportedly eyeing Wolves duo Kortney Hause and Dominic Iorfa, according to the Express & Star.

Wolves have endured a disappointing season this term after losing Bakary Sako to Palace in the summer and Nouha Dicko to injury, as well as seeing Benik Afobe depart to Bournemouth, but Hause and Iorfa were undoubted positives to take, with their performances crucial to what evolved into a solid back 4.

The likelihood of the England Under-21 pair staying at Molineux next season is thin though, and Premier League interest has been high, with Palace just one of a long list of clubs including West Ham and Arsenal who are reportedly watching the youngsters.

Hause and Iorfa could add some much needed youth to an ageing Palace defence, and also an ageing Palace side, and with goalscoring being the main problem at Selhurst Park, strengthening the defence might just keep them up next season.

Wolves fans…What do you make of the news? How big a blow would it be to lose Iorfa and Hause? What sort of fee should the club look to get for them? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
