Premier League outfit and last season’s FA Cup finalists Crystal Palace are considering an £8 million move for Nottingham Forest’s Oliver Burke, according to The Sun.
With the imminent departure of Yannick Bolasie looming over the Premier League side, Eagles boss Alan Pardew might look to replace him with the signing of Burke from Sky Bet Championship side Forest.
The 19-year-old started to establish himself in the first team last season after graduating from Nottingham Forest’s academy.
This season, he has started impressively by netting in the 4-3 win over Burton Albion and putting in a good performance against Brighton & Hove Albion on Friday night.
The Scotland international is a powerful and pacy winger who likes to take defenders on. Pardew has identified him as one for the future, but also someone who can make an impression if needed in the first team.
With Bolasie’s transfer fee to Everton reported to be upwards of £25 million, Palace have some money to spend on a replacement winger and, subsequently, Forest may try to eek out as much money as they can for Burke if Palace come in for the teenager.
