Queens Park Rangers could be forced to brace themselves for Premier League interest in attacker star Ebere Eze.

According to the Daily Star, (January 8, page 47) Crystal Palace are keen on signing the England U20 international after an impressive breakout season for the 20-year-old.

Eze has scored four goals and registered three assists for Steve McClaren's side in 26 league outings this term.

Eagles boss Roy Hodgson is keen to add more attacking influence to his top-flight strugglers, and with money, an issue at Loftus Road could pounce on that to push through a deal.

QPR are unable to sign anyone this window due to a transfer embargo, and it remains to be seen if the London club will be able to stave off the apparent interest in the striker.

Eze has divided opinion this season with QPR fans after their poor start but now are within touching distance of a play-off place after a spectacular turn around.

The verdict

Ebere Eze has enormous potential and will have a decision to make if Crystal Palace come in for him.

QPR have financial issues and could be forced to listen to offers for the striker if they are made.

The 20-year-old is one of the London club’s more saleable assets and has been outstanding at times for Steve McClaren’s side this term.

He would undoubtedly be able to improve under Roy Hodgson in the top tier of English football.

And if I were a QPR fan, I would be seriously worried about losing Eze this window with the Premier League club seemingly circling for his signature.
