Crystal Palace are the latest club to be linked with a move for Newcastle midfielder Moussa Sissoko, according to the Croydon Advertiser.
Alan Pardew is targeting the signing of the player he brought to St James’s Park back in 2013 for just £1.5 million as he looks to continue to steer his Eagles’ side away from the drop zone.
Sissoko is probably the most sought after player in the Football League right now following some great performances at Euro 2016, with some of the countries top sides such as Manchester United, Everton, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur linked with his signature in the last week.
However, Rafa Benitez has set a £35 million price tag on the player, and will not sell him unless that valuation is met, and, according to the article, the club are unlikely to spend that much on one player.
Whether the Frenchman would choose Selhurst Park as his next destination, especially with some of the giant sides interested in him, is unlikely.
