Crystal Palace have been linked with a move for Fulham midfielder, Jean Michael Seri according to Italian media outlet, Calciomercato.

The report also claims that Italian giants, AC Milan and Inter Milan are also weighing up a transfer swoop for Seri.

Seri made 32 appearances for Fulham last season, but was unable to stop them from being relegated back into the Championship after a short spell in the Premier League.

The 27-year-old only signed for the Lilywhites back in the summer of 2018, but could be heading for the exit door at Craven Cottage in the near future, as Scott Parker looks to trim the wage bill ahead of next season.

He struggled to adapt to life in English football at first, but settled in soon after with some impressive performances towards the back end of last year's campaign.

The Ivorian signed a four-year-deal with Fulham, with the option of a further year, but it seems as though it's only going to be a matter of time before he departs.

Seri could be tempted to give it another shot in England with Crystal Palace, although he'll surely be tempted by a move to either Inter Milan and AC Milan who will be competing in Europe next season.

It's set to be an interesting summer ahead at Fulham, and Seri looks as though he could be one of the players leaving the club before the new season gets underway in August.

The Verdict:

They need to move him on as soon as possible.

Seri is a Premier League-quality player and I would be stunned if he stuck around with Fulham in the Championship next season as he's far too good for them.

He's likely to be one of the highest earners with the club as well, so his departure would be the best move for both parties involved.
