After starting his career in his native country of South Africa, Kagisho Dikgacoi signed for Fulham back in 2009. 

Despite spending two seasons with the Cottagers in the Premier League, Dikgacoi made just 13 appearances for his side and as a result moved to then Championship Crystal Palace.

The midfielder gained game time season upon season appearing in total 108 times and he was contributing goals to his side too.

However, when Palace gained promotion to the top flight, Dikgacoi was limited to 26 appearances and failed to score.

Therefore, the player then took the step back down to the Championship and joined Cardiff City.

His time in Wales didn't get off to an ideal start when he missed out on game time due to a knee injury that kept him out for four months.

However, he went on to make 23 appearances in his second season with the club. Nonetheless, at the end of the campaign, his contract was terminated by mutual consent.

As a result, Dikgacoi returned to his home of South Africa and joined one of his former clubs Lamontville Golden Arrows on a short term deal.

However, he played just ten matches as he struggled with injuries and fitness and at the end of the season, the club announced that he would not be returned.

In July 2018, he then announced his retirement from playing.

Now 37-years-old, Dikgacoi has been fairly busy since he finished playing.

He has set up a sports apparel business that has a deal with the Malawi Football Association to supply them with kits.

Furthermore, he has also gone into management. After starting as an assistant manager at Royal Eagles, the former Palace man stayed in South Africa and became manager of Witbank Spurs in 2019.

Despite his time with Palace ending with less game time than he may have hoped for, Dikgacoi appears to still be a fan of Crystal Palace as he often shares their posts and success on his own Twitter page.
