Swansea City and Crystal Palace are interested in a deal for Grimsby Town winger Siriki Dembele, according to reports in HITC.
The 21-year-old joined the Mariners in the summer from the Nike academy, and has registered four goals and three assists in twenty League Two appearances.
Dembele was rewarded for his fine form in October by winning the EFL Young Player of the Month award, with his performances attracting the attentions of the Premier League sides.
Siriki is the older brother of Celtic wonderkid Karamoko Dembele, who shot to fame following a phenomenal run of form in the youth team set-up at Celtic.
Swansea boss Paul Clement is reportedly an admirer of the player, with the Swans having history of picking up youngsters from the Football League, with Matt Grimes making the move from Exeter City in recent years.
Dembele has crossed the void between Football League and academy football with relative ease, and his time with the Nike Academy has prepared him perfectly for the demands of the fourth tier.
To be linked with Premier League sides after just several months in the League is a remarkable achievement, and Dembele will target a first-team role at a top-flight side should a move materialise.
Both Swansea and Palace are fighting off relegation this season, and Dembele could be introduced into the fold immediately.
A fantastic opportunity, fans might be hearing more of the latest Dembele sensation in the near future.
