Brentford defender Ezri Konsa is being eyed up by Premier League side Crystal Palace for a summer move to Selhurst Park.

The Bees starlet has been in fine form for Thomas Frank's men this term, and according to the Sun, he is being eyed by Roy Hodgson for a sensational £15m swoop.

Former Charlton man Konsa only moved to Griffin Park last year, but has been an instant hit in the Championship with some fine performances and displays which have led to plenty of admiring glances from the likes of Palace and others in the top flight.

The 21-year-old has proved himself to be quite the player for Thomas Frank, and it would be no surprise to see him make the move to the top flight, following in the footsteps of the sort of business model Brentford have followed in recent times when they bring players in for cheap and sell on for big money.

The likes of Neal Maupay are expected to attract attention in the summer too, meaning it could be a summer of change once again for the club.

Konsa can play across the back and it's this sort of versatility and quality which has attracted Palace manager Hodgson into looking at making a move for the youngster.

The Verdict

Konsa does indeed look a fine talent, and he'd have no problem with making the step up to the Premier League.

Brentford have quite the nack of finding players like this, and although it is Charlton who nurtured him in his early days, Thomas Frank deserves plenty of credit too.

He'd be a fine signing for Palace, especially with the future of Aaron Wan-Bissaka up in the air too.
