With 22 goals and a nomination for Championship Player of the Season to his name this year, Birmingham's Che Adams was always going to attract interest from the Premier League in the summer transfer window.

That interest looks set to be growing after it emerged that a third Premier League club have taken an interest in the free scoring striker.

According to the Telegraph, Crystal Palace have joined Southampton and Burnley in adding their name to the list of top tier clubs taking an interest in Adams. The London club are said to be considering Adams as a replacement to on loan Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi, whose move they cannot afford to make permanent due to the wages the Belgian demands.

As well as the three current Premier League sides, Championship leaders Norwich are also said to be interested in Adams as they prepare for what looks set to be a return to the top tier, with the Canaries seven points clear of the play-offs with just five games of the season remaining.

It has been reported that Adams' signature will cost whoever signs him around £15million.

The Verdict

Crystal Palace fans will surely be excited by the prospect of this signing.

The Eagles have struggled for goals this season, and they can't rely on Wilf Zaha individual brilliance and Luka Milivojevic's reliability from the penalty spot forever.

Adams has shown his finishing ability time and again this season, which is just what Palace need.

With effectively four Premier League clubs - barring a Norwich capitulation - interested in the striker, it is becoming increasingly hard to see Adams at St Andrew's next season.
