Crystal Palace could yet move for Said Benrahma despite West Ham's interest in doing a deal for the winger, as per Sun journalist Alan Nixon on Twitter.

The Eagles have been relatively busy so far this season in terms of signing players with the likes of Ebere Eze joining the club.

They're still looking to add attacking players, though, with Nixon revealing that they are looking at Ismaila Sarr and, if they do not get him, they may still look at Benrahma with West Ham trying to get the Brentford man at present:

The Verdict

It looks a real fight at the moment for Benrahma potentially and we'll have to see whether Palace are going to make a late play or whether time will run out and the Algerian ends up joining the Hammers.

Clearly, the Brentford man is highly wanted at the moment and in the final days of the window it seems likely he will end up leaving west London for a new side - potentially elsewhere in the capital.

Palace are looking at Sarr right now so that will decide what they do here but, with them evidently wanting a winger, they need to make sure they end this week with at least one and don't end up empty-handed before the deadline.
