Crystal Palace and Fulham are chasing Swansea City striker Jordan Ayew, according to The Mirror.

Ayew is currently refusing to train with Swansea as he looks to force through a move to the Premier League.

The Swans are prepared to sell the Ghana international if a club meets his £12m valuation.

Ayew led the line for Swansea last season, netting seven goals for the club in the Premier League but he could not keep his side up as they suffered relegation to the Championship.

Prior to this season, the 26-year-old had spent two and a half years with Aston Villa, also suffering relegation with them.

Crystal Palace and Fulham are now trying to lure him to their club.

The Eagles have struggled to sign players this summer but Roy Hodgson is hoping Ayew can add to his striker options, while Fulham want someone to deputise for Aleksandar Mitrovic.

The Verdict

Ayew would be a decent back-up striker for either of these clubs.

He is unlikely to be the 15+ goal scorer in the Premier League but his all-round game makes him a useful squad option.

Swansea are preparing for life without him anyway so it shouldn't be too big a loss and any money can be reinvested in a new forward player.
