Oliver Turton signs new deal at Crewe

Crewe Alexandra midfielder Oliver Turton has signed a new contract until the summer of 2015.

The 21 year-old’s previous deal was set to expire in the summer and has made 38 appearances for the club (including 11 this season), scoring his first goal for the club in the 1-1 draw at Oldham back in September.

The versatile player came through the Academy system at the Alexandra Stadium as a right back, but has also played as a wing-back and right midfield for the club. Yet, he regularly plays central midfield for both the first team and the Under-21 team, who are sitting 2nd in the Northern section of the U21 League 2 (the top 2 teams both qualify for the play-off section to crown a champion).

He joins defenders Jon Guthrie and George Ray as well as winger George Cooper signing new deals with the Railwaymen.
