Crawley contract offers withdrawn

Crawley Town manager John Gregory says the League One club have withdrawn contract offers to Dannie Bulman, Mike Jones, Jamie Proctor and Mat Sadler.
The quartet, who were offered new deals a month ago, were given until the end of May to decide if they wanted to remain with the Sussex side.
But that deadline has passed without any of the aforementioned four putting pen to paper, and while Gregory has left the door open for them to return, the Crawley coach is now looking for alternative players to strengthen his squad for 2014-15.
“The door is still open if any of the lads want to come back and talk to me but the ball is in the club’s court now,” the former Portsmouth, Aston Villa, Derby County and Queens Park Rangers boss told the official Reds website.
“We’re disappointed but that’s football and we are working on other targets at the moment to strengthen the squad.”
