Millwall have confirmed the signing of Jon Dadi Bodvarsson from Reading in a deal that has caused excitement amongst the Millwall fanbase.

Bodvarsson becomes the club's fifth signing of the summer, and the second striker to arrive after Matt Smith signed from QPR earlier this month.

Like Smith, the Iceland international will add height and tremendous energy, which suggests Neil Harris will stick to a similar brand of football which worked so well with the likes of Lee Gregory and Steve Morison.

The deal is believed to be worth £750,000, making him the third player the Lions have signed for a fee after Smith and Conor Mahoney, which suggests the club is intent on bringing in targets the manager is keen on.

Reading fans are disappointed to see him depart despite only scoring six goals in 20 games, whilst some Millwall fans are excited by the club's latest bit of transfer business. Here are some of the responses from Lions fans on Twitter.
