Bolton Wanderers have confirmed that they have completed the signing of Eoin Doyle on a three-year deal.

Doyle caught the eye with a number of impressive showings for Swindon Town last season, as they won promotion into League One under the management of Richie Wellens.

Doyle played a key role in their promotion-winning season as well, as he netted 26 goals in 28 appearances for the Robins, as they secured promotion, after the majority of League Two clubs agreed to curtail this year's campaign on a PPG (points per game) basis.

Bolton will be preparing for life in the fourth tier of English football next season, after they were relegated from League One after a disappointing campaign on and off-the-pitch.

The Trotters are now managed by Ian Evatt, who will be hoping that he can build a squad capable of challenging for an immediate promotion back into the third tier.

Plenty of Bolton Wanderers supporters took to social media to issue their thoughts on Doyle's arrival ahead of the 2020/21 season.
