Coventry are interested in re-signing Bright Enobakhare on loan according to the Express & Star.

The striker recently signed a one-year extension with Wolves, but since he is not thought to be in first-team plans, he could move out on loan once again.

The Sky Blues took him on loan for the second part of last season, and he contributed six goals and three assists in 18 appearances, a return which helped them challenge for the playoff places.

Enobakhare came up through the youth ranks at Wolves and has made 41 appearances for the club, mostly from the bench.

Mark Robins rates him very highly and could be determined to bring him back - the only problem could be that Wolves want him to play at a higher level.

Coventry were unbeaten in 10 of the 18 games in which Enobakhare played. They finished eight points off the playoffs in eight place, so will be hoping to get the 21-year-old back in order to mount a better challenge next season.

On the other hand, if The Sky Blues manage to get hold off him this season, it is possible he could have a long-term future at the club, with his contract expiring next summer.

The Verdict

Mark Robins got the best out of Enobakhare last season, so it is little surprise he is interested in getting him back in ahead of the new season. If the striker can continue his form Coventry should better this season's finish. If they manage to do that they could easily finish in the playoffs.

I think the best move for both the player and Wolves would be a short-term loan back at Coventry. If he impresses for six months and shows he is too good for League One then he could make the step up by joining a Championship club on loan, which could be enough to extend his deal at Wolves once again.
