Coventry, Doncaster and MK Dons are just some of the clubs interested in Walsall striker Craig Westcarr, according to Sky Sports.
Westcarr’s contract expires in the summer and no contract extension has been offered to the 29-year-old.
This news has put a number of Championship and League One clubs on red-alert for the former Nottingham Forest man, and a flurry of bids are expected in the summer.
Walsall are keen to keep hold of the striker, and are hoping to tie up a deal with him within the next few weeks. However, Walsall’s play-off hopes have been scuppered so Westcarr could be tempted for a move up a division.
The former Chesterfield striker made his loan move permanent in January, and the striker has amassed 16 goals for the Saddlers this season.
