Coventry City keen to bring former fans’ favourite back to the Ricoh Arena

According to The Coventry Telegraph, Portsmouth midfielder Carl Baker is on Coventry City’s radar this summer.
Carl Baker was a former fans’ favourite at Coventry in his previous spell with the club from 2010 to 2014.
Since leaving Coventry, Baker has played for Milton Keynes and Portsmouth and he has won promotion with both.
Promotion is the goal for Coventry, who suffered a disappointing relegation to League Two and Mark Robins will be keen to land the veteran winger with experience of winning promotion.
The 34-year-old played under Mark Robins when he was last manager of Coventry and Robins gave Baker the captaincy.
The two could reunite again ahead of next season.
Baker could follow his Portsmouth team mate Michael Doyle, who re-signed for Coventry earlier in the window.
There is still another year left on his Portsmouth contract but Pompey are reportedly willing to discuss cutting it short after winning promotion to League One and Baker wants to secure a return to Coventry.
