Coventry City manager Stephen Pressley is bracing himself for an incoming bidding war for star striker Callum Wilson.
Four Championship clubs have already had enquiries for the striker turned down by the club. Those clubs are believed to be Brentford, Norwich City, Bournemouth and Wolves.
Reports suggest that Coventry have a price in mind for the striker which is believed to be between £2-3 million.
Wilson was always going to attract interest this summer following his twenty-two goal return in League One last season.
Pressley is adamant that the striker is not for sale, but admits that will not put clubs of coming in for him.
Speaking to the Coventry Telegraphy he said “The current situation is he’s not for sale.”
“When you have got four clubs involved the bidding can become very aggressive.
“But as I have stressed before, the situation is Callum is a player we don’t want to lose and is an integral part of what we want to create here.”
