According to an exclusive report by HITC Sport, Yeovil Town defender Alex Lacey is wanted by Coventry City but they face competition from three League One clubs for his signature.
Charlton Athletic, Oxford United and Bristol Rovers are also in the hunt to sign Alex Lacey this summer.
Recently relegated to League Two, Coventry are looking to poach Alex Lacey from Yeovil as they aim to mount a promotion challenge under the guidance of Mark Robins.
With Nathan Clarke released and Farrend Rawson returning to Derby on loan, Coventry are light in the centre back department, especially as Jordan Turnbull has a clause in his contract with gives him the option to leave the club.
Coventry have been eyeing Lacey, who is out of contract with Yeovil but likely to be offered a new deal.
The 23-year-old has been a standout performer for the Glovers in League Two this season with dominant centre half displays and this has also caught the attention of League One trio Charlton, Oxford and Bristol Rovers.
