Bristol Rovers will be looking to get back to winning ways this weekend as they play host to Crawley Town at the Memorial Stadium in Sky Bet League Two.

Joey Barton's men have had a mixed start to the campaign so far, with the Gas having only tasted victory on two occasions across all competitions as they bid to make in roads towards getting back to League One.

There is clearly a hangover after a summer of mass change at the club and it will take time for the side to really gel as they look to be making a play for the top seven places in the fourth division.

The deadline day captures of Antony Evans, Junior Brown and Leon Clarke should however help things, due to the quality and experience that they bring to the table.

Here, we take a look at the predicted Bristol Rovers starting eleven to face Crawley Town on Saturday.

James Belshaw will once again keep his place between the sticks for the Gas and will be looking to keep a clean sheet on home turf against the Red Devils.

Connor Taylor, Mark Hughes and Nick Anderton will once again form a three man defence as Barton continues to keep faith with his chosen system.

Alex Rodman and Harry Anderson will once again be the advanced wing backs as they look to provide good width and creativity on the flanks, whilst Barton may choose to bring in Paul Coutts to the midfield alongside Josh Grant to add a bit more order to proceedings.

Which therefore leaves the attacking trio of Aaron Collins, Sam Nicholson and Brett Pitman who will be tasked with leading the line once again for the Gas as the likes of Evans and Clarke wait in the wings for their debuts.
