Ben Marshall completed his return to Millwall on Wednesday evening, signing on loan until the end of the season.

The Lions confirmed the news on their official website after the winger was seen at The Den watching last weekend’s defeat to Blackburn Rovers.

The 27-year-old had been on loan at the London club last year but chose to move to Norwich City on a permanent basis, despite Neil Harris having a bid accepted by his former parent club Wolverhampton Wanderers in the summer.

Marshall has found life at Carrow Road hard since his summer move, making just four league appearances, with the majority of his time on the pitch being from right-back.

Add in illness and injury, regular game time was not forthcoming for the wide man, and a temporary move away has been sanctioned my Daniel Farke with his side third in the Championship table.

Many a Millwall fan embraced the second coming of the winger after the news was announced.

With that said, here’s how the Lions’ supporters reacted on Twitter to the re-signing of a popular member of last season’s side.
