The playing squad and senior staff at Leeds United have agreed to a wage deferral amid the ongoing EFL postponement, allowing other staff at Elland Road to be paid as normal at this time of trouble.
Leeds haven’t been in action since their 2-0 victory over Huddersfield Town at the beginning of March, with Championship (and worldwide) football on hold following the outbreak of coronavirus.
Phil Hay of The Athletic has reported that Leeds’ players have agreed to defer their wage amid this postponement, which will allow other staff within the club to be paid as normal at a time when things are difficult right across the country.

Well in boys 👏👏👏 just goes to show that not only do we have a very talented hard working squad of players but we also have a fantastic humane and caring group. Couldn’t ask for a better group, we haven’t had one like this in centuries
