Zach Clough has been making waves in English football for the past year now and he more than earned his transfer to Nottingham Forest in the winter transfer window.

The former Bolton Wanderers striker has started his Forest career extremely promisingly indeed and despite the Reds' overall struggles this season, Clough has been a real bright spark and has helped add a real element of pace to the forward line.

Four goals and two assists in his first 11 appearances for the Reds marks a decent return and there's little doubt that under the guidance of Mark Warburton, Clough's stock is only going to rise higher and higher.

And there's one man who he's been keeping him out of the team in recent weeks and that's Britt Assombalonga, who's been struggling for goals and first-team minutes in recent weeks.

Assombalonga has struggled to stop Forest's decline this season and despite missing large spells through injury, he's been a little ineffective when fit too.

But with £2.13million-rated Clough now leading the line alongside Ben Brereton, could he be the man to oust the experienced Championship forward from Forest's first-team for good?

Well at this rate, Assombalonga could be on his way out of the City Ground quicker than we know it but is Clough really good enough to lead the line at this stage in his career?
