It's been a fantastic season for Wolves, however, one of few players not to excel on a personal level is Helder Costa.

A long-standing ankle injury required surgery in the summer and kept the talented winger out until September and he has struggled to get a place in recent months as he tries to rediscover the mesmerising form he displayed last season.

The talented winger was the shining light for Wolves in a disappointing campaign last time out and fans were overjoyed when he joined permanently in January for a multi-million pound fee.

But, is Costa still happy at Wolves now? As mentioned, he is no longer a guaranteed starter, so will he leave Molineux if Nuno Espirito Santo's men don't go up?

Our writers give their verdicts...

Sam Rourke

Surely he'll leave Wolves.

Helder Costa is way too good to be starting on the bench most weeks, and will no doubt demand a move away from Molineux if they don't go up.

But, I can't see Wolves not going up, so I'd imagine he'd stay if they are promoted.

He could go anyway!

Costa is a good player but he is in and out of the Wolves side at the moment.

I think the men in gold would want to keep him but if he still hasn't nailed down a first team spot come the end of the season, he may want out regardless of finishing position. He's good enough to go elsewhere.

Alfie Burns

I think there is a real chance that Costa could leave Molineux before the summer, with the winger surely frustrated by his lack of opportunities since his return from injury.

It is hard to see where Costa fits in to Nuno’s starting XI at the current time, and with constant rumours that Wolves are looking to add more star quality to their squad, Costa would be well within his rights to push for a move away.

Costa has star quality and deserves to be playing week in, week out.

Adam Simeoni

Costa has a lot to prove over the next few months. Injury has restricted him this season, and he is no longer the star player of the team like he had been the year before.

Bonatini and Jota are miles ahead of him in terms of performance this term, and Costa needs to up his game if he is to once again to up there with the best at Molineux.

Interest will exist for the former Monaco man, but he needs to begin to prove once more that he is too good for the second tier.
