Nottingham Forest could be set to allow Albert Adomah to leave the club before the end of the transfer window, according to the Mirror journalist Graeme Bailey.

The 32-year-old arrived at the City Ground on a two-year deal in the summer following his release by Aston Villa, after helping Dean Smith's side win promotion to the Premier League.

But the experienced winger has found regular game time hard to come by under Sabri Lamouchi, having made only five starting appearances in the Championship for Forest this term.

19 of Adomah's 27 appearances for the Reds have come from off the bench, and the Ghanaian is now said to be attracting interest from a host of clubs, including Forest's Championship rivals Cardiff City.

Adomah has been particularly overlooked by Lamouchi this season, with Sammy Ameobi featuring in every single Championship match thus far this term.
