Ipswich Town’s Teddy Bishop is set to join Lincoln City, which would bring an end to nearly 18 years at the club for the midfielder.

The 25-year-old joined the Tractor Boys as a kid, progressing through the ranks and eventually forcing his way into the first-team under Mick McCarthy.

However, whilst injuries haven’t helped, Bishop struggled to establish himself as a regular under Paul Cook and it was decided over the summer that the player would be allowed to move.

They state that a deal is at an advanced stage, with Bishop set to link up with Michael Appleton’s side ahead of the new campaign.
