Bradford City have swooped to sign Austin Samuels on a season-long loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers. 

Stuart McCall’s side have started the season with five points from the opening three fixtures of the League Two season. The Bantams are unbeaten heading into the Yorkshire derby with Harrogate Town on Monday evening at Valley Parade.

Ahead of that game, Bradford have received a boost, with Samuels arriving on a season-long loan from Wolves.

The 19-year-old scored for Wolves’ under-21s on Tuesday evening in a 1-1 draw with Bradford, but is now through the door at the League Two club and ready to take his first proper steps into the EFL.

As expected, there have been a sea of Bradford fans reacting to the news of Samuels’ arrival.

Many are delighted to see a striker with pace arriving through the doors in West Yorkshire, whilst others haven’t missed out on the fact he scored against the Bantams on Tuesday.
