Reading FC have completed the signing of Lewis Baker on loan from Chelsea, with the midfielder set to spend the second-half of the season with the Royals.
Baker has been part of the Leeds United squad during the first-half of the season, disappointing many at Elland Road and failing to become a permanent fixture in Marcelo Bielsa’s side.
After Chelsea opted to recall him, Reading have announced on their official website that they’ve swooped for his service, with Jose Gomes now beginning to really reshape the squad he inherited at the Madejski Stadium.

The 23-year-old brings plenty of Championship experience despite his young age and has undoubted class given his many years at Chelsea and England youth caps.
As expected, a few supporters are aware of his failed Leeds spell, but many see this as good business for the Royals.
Here’s a look at what supporters have had to say…
Absolutely quality! Our Midfield is so strong. Now it’s time to work on the defence
