Crystal Palace player Luka Milivojevic has been linked with a move to Nottingham Forest for this summer.

According to Greek outlet SDNA, the 31-year old is a target for Steve Cooper’s side in the transfer wonder that is set to open next week officially.

Forest are now preparing for life in the Premier League, so could be looking for experienced players to add to their first team squad.

Here we ask our FLW writers their verdict on whether the midfielder would be a good addition to the Reds…

I like the sound of this possible move, with Luka Milivojevic an experienced head in the Premier League who would certainly bolster Steve Cooper's options in the middle of his midfield.

Yes, Cooper has worked miracles with younger members of the squad this season, however, the Premier League will be a different ball game when experience can prove to be invaluable.

A dependable figure for Crystal Palace over the years, Milivojevic could add a lot of value to Forest as they intend to avoid the Premier League drop.

He would not be the most exciting signing that Forest make this summer, however, he could be a very effective addition.

This would be a good signing for Forest and as they prepare a squad for the top flight - players with Premier League experience will be a crucial addition to their side.

Milivojevic has made 177 appearances for Palace in the Premier League and proved to be a useful addition, scoring 28 goals in that time too with  a lot coming from the penalty spot.

He is a player who knows how to make use of set pieces and provides a lot of potential as a leader both on and off the pitch.

Forest are somewhat lacking in the middle of the park going in to their Premier League campaign, with James Garner heading back to Manchester United, so additions will be needed regardless, and Milivojevic could be more-than good enough to play next to Ryan Yates.

Charlie Gregory

Considering how well he has performed for Crystal Palace since his move to England, a deal for Luka Milivojevic could be excellent business.

The midfielder has bags of experience, is a set-piece specialist and has goals in his locker from the centre of the field. He’s also a leader and could help keep the side in the top flight.

He might not be necessarily needed but Forest could do with adding as much top flight experience to their ranks as possible.

They’re in a position they aren’t used to in terms of league and will need players who know how to perform at the highest level. Milivojevic fits that bill.
