‘Could be a shrewd signing’ – Plenty of Charlton Athletic fans left optimistic after transfer update

Charlton Athletic have completed the signing of Omar Bogle, further strengthening Lee Bowyer’s squad for the League One season.
Relegation and off-field uncertainty feels a long time ago now for the Addicks, who have made a steady start to the League One season.
Bowyer has now been boosted by the arrival of Bogle, whose arrival has been announced by the club.
Quiz: Do these celebrities support QPR, Watford, Luton or Charlton Athletic?
The striker has penned a one-year deal at Charlton, with there an option there for that to be extended by a further 12 months.
The 28-year-old has been well travelled in recent seasons, with his form at Grimsby – 32 goals in 68 games – really propelling him in the EFL.
He’s played for Wigan Athletic, Cardiff City, Birmingham City and Portsmouth in recent seasons, spending plenty of time out on loan from the Bluebirds.
His loan at Den Haag in 2020 was cut short, with Bogle bagging one goal in five appearances.
Now, he’s heading for Charlton and has their fans excited…

Could be a shrewd signing and another unit (theme developing here). Poor oztumer must absolutely brick it in training.

New striker. Great to see, as we do need more cutting edge in the final third, competition for the positions and back up for injuries. Come on you Addicks ⚽️⚽️
