Blackburn Rovers look like going head-to-head with Derby County in the race to sign Lech Poznan winger  to Kamil Jozwiak, according to reports on Polish Media outlet Polsat Sport, with both clubs looking to do a deal during the January transfer window.

Lech Poznan look like they are willing to sell the Polish international this month, with the 21-year-old valued at no more than 3m euros, having made 86 appearances in four years at the club.

So would Jozwiak be a good signing at Ewood Park and is he a player they need?

We discuss........

Ned Holmes

“This looks like it could be a really smart move from Blackburn.

“With Bradley Dack out for at least the rest of the season due to a ligament injury, Tony Mowbray needs to add some more attacking flair to his side and Jozwiak could provide just that.

“The Polish winger is absolutely rapid and if he settled well could be a real nuisance for Championship defenders.

“He has a bit of an eye for a goal as well, scoring four goals and providing two assists in 19 appearances this season, which is a clear boost.

“At just 21, this looks like a signing that could pay dividends for Blackburn for years to come.”

Josh Cole

“Whilst Blackburn were fantastic in an attacking sense at the weekend during their victory over Sheffield Wednesday, it could be argued that they need to bolster their options in this particular position in the coming weeks.

“With Bradley Dack set to miss the rest of the season due to injury, Rovers ought to consider swooping for Jozwiak.

“A promising young talent, the Poland international has provided eight direct goal contributions already this season for Lech Poznan in all competitions.

“Although it may take time for Jozwiak to adjust to the competitiveness on show in the Championship, there is no reason why he cannot help Blackburn achieve a relative amount of success between now and the end of the campaign.”

George Harbey

"I think that it could be a real coup to lure Jozwiak away from Lech Poznan given the calibre of clubs that are being linked with his signature at this moment in time.

"Blackburn are definitely in need of another creative spark following the injury to Bradley Dack, and even they play in slightly different positions, Jozwiak could be an excellent replacement for the talented playmaker.

"He is quick, skilful, direct and pacy, and he is the kind of winger who loves to take players on and get to the byline.

"Players like Stewart Downing could really help him settle into England and into life at Ewood Park, and this is where their experience and leadership could be really helpful indeed."
