Arsenal are set to beat Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig to complete the signing of Ipswich Town youngster Dylan Crowe.

The Mirror are reporting that the 17-year old, who is yet to make a senior appearance for the Tractor Boys, has attracted interest from the likes of the Gunners, as well as Manchester United.

Crowe played an integral part in European Championships this year with England's under-17 squad who finished in the semi-finals.

So, would it be a good signing for Unai Emery's Arsenal?

I think it is a good signing if it happens.

Crowe obviously has something about him if the likes of Dortmund and Leipzig are keen admirers.

Is it a good move for Crowe, though? I think not - we've seen the likes of Jadon Sancho excel out in Germany, so he may want to think twice before this move.

Jacob Potter  I don't think its a good move for Crowe. You only have to look at the success that fellow youngsters Jadon Sancho and Reiss Nelson have had in Germany - it's unlikely that we will see him in Arsenal's first team in the next four or five years, but he might get that chance abroad. If he chooses Arsenal over a move to Germany, I feel he's made a mistake. Chris Gallagher It's a big blow for Ipswich, but could be a magnificent signing for the Gunners. All clubs want to bring through their own players so it will be incredibly frustrating for the Tractor Boys that they are going to lose a bright prospect. However, that's the way football is and they can take encouragement that they are producing players who attract interest from top European clubs. Louie Chandler  It certainly looks to be a good signing. Of course, plenty can still happen, good and bad, for the 17-year-old, but Arsenal have a habit of bringing defenders up from the Football League.
