Arsenal defender, Jordi Osei-Tutu has been linked with a move to Championship side, Brentford according to a recent report from Football Insider.

A loan move for the Gunners youngster seems like the most likely move, with Arsenal rating him highly and keen to have him at the Emirates Stadium in the future.

The 20-year-old moved to Arsenal from Reading back in 2015, and has seemingly made good progress with the club's under 23's side in recent years.

He's yet to make an appearance for the first-team, but a loan move elsewhere could be on the cards to find him regular game time in senior football to help aid his development.

Brentford could be able to offer that as well, as they look to finish inside the top six next season under Thomas Frank at Griffin Park.

But would Osei-Tutu be a good signing for Brentford if they strike an agreement with Arsenal?

We discuss....

Jacob Potter:

"This has the potential to be a really good signing by the Bees.

"There will be doubts as to whether the youngster is good enough to be playing regularly in the Championship, especially when he's yet to make a senior appearance for Arsenal.

"But if he can find some consistency in his performances at Brentford, then he could be a brilliant signing for Thomas Frank's side.

"I think that he could prove to be one of the signings of the season if he can hit the ground running."

Toby Wilding:

"I think this could be a good signing for Brentford.

"You don't get recruited into Arsenal's setup without having a good amount of potential, and the fact that Arsenal would prefer a loan to a permanent move shows that they clearly feel he could have a future at their level.

"This therefore bodes well in terms of what he could do for Brentford next season, who will need to add fresh defensive options with the likes of Yoann Barbet and Moses Odubajo both having left the club already this summer.

"Given that he is also capable of playing in midfield, Osei-Tutu has the versatility to offer the Bees options in a number of positions next season, and that too could be a benefit to Thomas Frank's side."

Tommy Joyce:

"I'm not sure if Osei-Tutu is ready for the Championship.

"Like many players who have never experienced first-team football, it can be very hard to predict whether it will be a good signing.

"At 20 years old, he is still yet to play one game for Arsenal's first-team, so you wonder based on that statistic if he is ready for the Championship if he can't get on for Arsenal in cup games or the Europa League.

"The available pool to judge his talent is very small, but maybe it would make more sense to go in for someone who as played more competitive football before."
