Football League World's Derby County fan pundit Lisa Howard has offered thoughts on Kelle Roos' recent performances for the Rams.

The 27-year-old has been an everpresent for Derby under Phillip Cocu this season, however his performances have left a lot to be desired and plenty of fans have demanded for him to be dropped.

The Dutchman produced a shaky performance in the 3-0 defeat to Fulham on Tuesday night, and struggled to command his area as Aleksandar Mitrovic headed home from a corner.

After the game, Cocu insisted that Roos is like any other player, and just because he doesn't play in an outfield position, he could well be dropped for this weekend's clash with Queens Park Rangers.

Derby fan pundit Lisa Howard has offered her thoughts on Roos' season so far, saying: "Roos is a very frustrating goalkeeper - he can do some good things, but on the whole, he scares you to death.

"His distribution at times is awful, when he plays out from the back he puts the defenders under pressure as he is not good enough to do that. He cannot catch a ball, and does not command his area well enough."

It remains to be seen who starts for the Rams this weekend, with Ben Hamer definitely in contention to replace Roos in the Derby starting line-up this weekend.

Howard has backed Hamer to start against Mark Warburton's side, saying: "I think it is time to give Hamer a go in goal, as Roos is costing us vital points."

Having already been linked with Sheffield Wednesday's Cameron Dawson, a new goalkeeper seems to be on the radar for the East Midlands side, after letting go of Scott Carson in the summer.

Howard even wants to see Carson come back on loan to replace Roos in-between the sticks - she said: "In January I have a goalkeeper on my wish list, I would be happy to have Carson back from his loan at Man City, he should have never been allowed to go in the first place."
