Luton Town are in a fantastic position heading into the Championship's final day.

Despite their heavy defeat to Fulham on Monday, The Hatters currently sit sixth in the second tier standings, with their fate in their own hands.

A win for Nathan Jones' side at home to Reading would see them secure a play-off position - an incredible achievement for the club.

A draw or defeat, however, could let the likes of Middlesbrough and Millwall, who sit seventh and eighth respectively, into the top six.

With that being said, it is a crucial match for Luton and Nathan Jones' team selection will be crucial given the injuries they have suffered from of late.

Here, we've selected a potential XI we think Jones could use for the clash.

We expect Nathan Jones to continue deploying the 3-1-4-2 formation we have seen the Hatters use in recent weeks, with injuries largely forcing his hand in terms of team selection for the final day.

Emergency loanee Matt Ingram should start in goal, whilst the backline, largely due to injuries, could remain unchanged from Luton's 7-0 thrashing to Fulham, with Reece Burke, Tom Lockyer and Dan Potts in the back three.

Kal Naismith could once again be deployed in a defensive midfield role, whilst ahead of him Robert Snodgrass will likely keep his place. Alongside him though, we expect Allan Campbell to come in having only been withdrawn from the Fulham match late prior to kick-off.

On the right and left things look familiar, with Amari'i Bell occupying the left flank, whilst Fred Onyedinma continues to feature on the right.

With no update on the fitness of Elijah Adebayo, we think Harry Cornick could partner Cameron Jerome up front in place of Danny Hylton.

Kick-off between Luton Town and Reading is set for 12:30pm.
