Charlton Athletic are 23rd in League One, with one win in ten league games and are four points from safety.

It is desperate times for under pressure manager Nigel Adkins who has made 23 changes to the Addicks' starting XI in the last four matches.

Therefore, predicting what the former Southampton manager will go for is a difficult task but we have given it our best shot.

Josh Davison was probably the main positive to take from the side's 4-1 home loss to Bolton Wanderers in midweek with the former Enfield Town man scoring his second goal in as many games.

Here, we have predicted just three changes for the Addicks' trip to face Fleetwood Town...

Every manager has his favourites and to the dismay of some Charlton supporters, Ben Watson is one of Nigel Adkins' and so we are expecting the 36-year-old to keep his place amid fierce competition for places in central midfield.

The three alterations are as follows: Chris Gunter in for Adam Matthews, Alex Gilbey in for Sean Clare and Conor Washington in for Corey Blackett-Taylor.

Matthews was tormented by Oladapo Afolayan in midweek and Sean Clare has recently come back from injury. Blackett-Taylor's omission will be a disappointing sight for supporters but Adkins has been keen to point out how they do not want to push him too far and cause an injury.
