Swansea City remain within touching distance of the top-six, as they look to make a timely return to the Premier League under the management of Steve Cooper.

The Swans are currently sat 11th in the Championship table, and are just three points adrift of the play-off places with nine games remaining in their season.

They'll have to remain patient to end their three game winless run though as recent off-the field events brought a halt to fixtures across English football for the time being.

Speaking in a Q&A session for Swansea's official website during the lockdown period that the UK are currently undergoing, midfielder Conor Gallagher name-dropped a number of players that were in contention to be the best player he has played alongside so far in his career.

"The best player I've ever played with is a very tough question because I've played with a few good ones! I think it's out of Phil Foden, Callum Hudson-Odoi or Jadon Sancho.

"I think because I've grown up with Callum, and the stuff I've seen him do with the ball is crazy, so I'm going to go with him."

Gallagher has made ten appearances and been on hand to provide five assists since he completed his move to Swansea City on loan from Chelsea in the January transfer window, which came after his impressive loan spell with Charlton Athletic was brought to a premature end.

He'll be hoping he can do all he can to impress his parent club away from Stamford Bridge, in the hope of forcing his way into Frank Lampard's plans for next year's campaign.

Can you score full marks in this higher or lower Swansea City quiz?

The Verdict:

All of them would have been worthy contenders!

Sancho is flourishing with Borussia Dortmund nowadays, whilst Foden is starting to make a name for himself in the Manchester City first-team, but it's no surprise to see Gallagher go with Hudson-Odoi, who is a player that he's played in the same team with in the Chelsea academy and in the England youth teams.

Hudson-Odoi is a player with real talent, and I can see him being a regular for the Blues first team in the near future.

Gallagher has got a chance of following in his footsteps as well, as Frank Lampard has already shown that he's willing to give the club's academy players a run in the first team.

But it's important that he makes a good impression out on loan with Swansea City for the remainder of the season for that to happen.
